My life as a girl with two homes started at the age of one.  My dad was a musician, incredibly creative and adventurous and my mom was conservative and driven to continue her college career.  As a child, I developed life-long friendships that still exist today.  My relationships through sports, organizations and experiences have been my most treasured accomplishment.  I married early, at the age of 20, and finished college with a husband at Northeastern State University. 

After college, I taught in public school and enjoyed using my experiential wisdom to help students be able to cope with divorce.  Seeing those in the trenches in which I lived made an impact on my heart to share my own personal coping system because it worked.  I now stay actively involved in community organizations that benefit children and extend reading times and public speaking on divorce to the schools.

I have been married almost fourteen years, and am enjoying a partnership and a beautiful little girl of my own that has a heart with one home.
